I knew photography was special once I picked up my mom’s camera and started shooting events. As my photography class assignments asked for photos of objects and locations it was not until I captured a school dance recital and as the image revealed itself on paper in the development tray, the excitement of the dancer’s eyes is was the start of my passion and journey with photography. And so I fell in love with event photography. I love capturing candid shots especially in the heat of the moment. I was one of those that loved staying in the darkroom in high school developing film, old school style. It was exciting watching the images develop and exposing the capture.

However, my career did not lead me to become a full time photographer but into the information technology world. I still kept photography in my life as I minored in photography at San Jose State University. I enjoyed taking on events photography for family, friends, fund raising events, and volunteer portrait events. I shot weddings and portrait sessions part time on weekends. It’s always been my creative outlet and a true passion.

After a good amount of time in my career I decided to focus on this passion of mine. You would most likely find me planning a road trip and now with the opening after the pandemic, international trips for more travel and landscape photography. I love photographing people and events so I would like to provide this service to capture special moments.
